Ianna Osborne

Biography
Ianna Osborne is a research software engineer with PICSciE and IRIS-HEP based at CERN. Her background is in physics and computer science.
Ianna has contributed to CMS Software framework and has received an Achievement Award for CMS Construction for Outstanding Contribution to the Event Display Programs. She works in a team developing analysis software capable of processing very large data volumes expected from the High Luminosity upgrade of the LHC.
Ianna is a strong advocate and champion for women and girls in STEM.
Project interests
Ianna is interested in working directly with physicists to create high quality software to enable new scientific advances in HEP and beyond.
