Biography
Vipin Bhatnagar is a Professor of Physics at Panjab University, Chandigarh. He served as a foreign researcher at LAL Orsay, France (2000–2001) and as a CERN Associate working on the CMS Experiment (2004–2006). His career has progressed through roles as programmer, lecturer, assistant professor, and professor.
Project interests
His primary research focuses on experimental high energy physics, including collider physics and neutrino physics. His work includes detector development and characterization of glass Resistive Plate Chambers (RPC), and contributions to major discoveries at the Large Hadron Collider, including studies of the Higgs boson and precision measurements in proton-proton collisions.
